Los Angeles-based musician KERA has shared a new song featuring Devendra Banhart called “BRIGHT FUTURE AHEAD.” All proceeds from the collaborative track will be donated to Trans Lifeline, a trans-led organization that responds to critical needs within the trans community. Listen to the song below.

“‘BRIGHT FUTURE AHEAD’ is the urgency to live unapologetically,” KERA said in a statement. “A paradox between the helplessness in today’s political status quo and the need to support one another. This song is written with the intention of offering encouragement, community, and resilience to all who listen.”

Last year, KERA shared the three-track Fall.Apart. EP. Devendra Banhart’s last album was 2016’s Ape in Pink Marble.
